Dr Rani Saxena, DPT

President

Rani Saxena, who joined Bionic in 2014 as Director of Operations is now the President for the organization. Rani is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 20 years of clinical and administrative experience in the field of rehabilitation. She lives by the motto, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” Her compassion and tireless efforts to influence change will continue to inspire the Bionic family as it continues to grow and expand under her leadership!

Joe Antorietto

Director of Operations

Joe Antorietto joined Bionic in 2019 as Director of Operations. Joe is seasoned in the O&P field with over 25 years of experience, working with large corporations like Orthomedics, Novacare, Hanger, and OrPro among others, throughout his career. Joe has a calm, easy-going demeanor along with persistence to succeed. His extensive knowledge about the business of O&P, mergers, and acquisitions, management and operations will be a tremendous asset to Bionic family in its ambitious growth plans!

Lori Pipinich, CP

Residency Director /Clinic Manager

Lori joined Bionic in 2019 as a consultant and residency director and added a full-time clinic manager in January 2020 for Bionic’s newest state of the art clinic in Palatine, IL. Lori is an ABC certified Prosthetist with over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience. Lori has done research, published articles and spoken at national and international meetings and is well recognized for her work in elevated vacuum mechanisms. Meghan Baley, CPO/L

Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist

Bionic’s new Bolingbrook, IL Clinic will be led by Meghan Baley who joined the Bionic Team in January 2020. She holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Orthotics & Prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University and is ABC Certified. She has been in practice since 2015 in the O&P field, soon to be specializing in cranial remolding. Meghan is instrumental in helping our clinic to be up and running to full capacity and is a great asset to the Bionic Team!

Scott Tjaden, BOCP

Certified Prosthetist

Scott joined Bionic in 2020 as a Certified Prosthetist. He spent 17 years with Ottobock as a Product Support Specialist and  and has been providing patient care for the last 5 years. He is also an above the knee amputee and swam in the 88’ and 92’ Paralympic Games. In his spare time he enjoy’s spending time with his family and his Yellow Lab along with going to the lake, Duck Hunting and golfing. He will be joining our newest clinic in Monona, Wisconsin and providing clinical care to our patients at the facility.

Deanna Larson CP

Certified Prosthetist

Deanna completed her certification in Prosthetics in 2008 and Orthotics in 2014. She also has a Masters degree in Human Movement. She has several years of patient care experience working at several O&P clinics through her career and has gained valuable experience in fabrication, pediatric rehabilitation, post-operative orthotic care. She also has multiple years of teaching experience, including at the Arizona State University. She will be joining our newest clinical facility in Arizona.

Gloria Lee, CPO/LPO

Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist

Gloria joined Bionic in May 2020. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Wheaton College, and a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Georgia Institute of Technology.  Having worked in a variety of clinical settings including clinics, Level 1 trauma centers, and rehabilitation hospitals, she believes in the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork. She has enjoyed going to running, rock climbing and bowling events for amputees. She will be providing compassionate care to patients at our clinic in Hazel Crest, Illinois.

Stephen Marfia, CPO

Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist

Steve, who is joining Bionic in May 2020 started his career in 1992 in Texas, and has been active in establishing amputee support groups and working with community outreach programs. He has a significant interest in upper extremity and hip disarticulation prosthetics. An enthusiastic public speaker, Steve frequently conducts seminars and presentations applicable his profession.  Steve’s hobbies include; Anything mechanical, classic cars, anything water related, and all things outdoors. He will be working out of our busy  South Bend, Indiana Clinic.
