Roy Ostrander, CP
Roy has over 30 years of clinical experience with 20 years as clinical manager. He is an ABC certified and Florida licensed prosthetist. He began his career in Prosthetics at age 16, working as a prosthetic technician after school. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Buffalo in 1984 and spent 13 years as a Physical Therapist specializing in amputee rehab. before returning to school for Prosthetics at the Newington Certificate Program. With his Physical Therapy background, Roy enjoys being able to offer his patients a more comprehensive care experience. Roy has also devoted some of his time to research and development of post-operative prosthetic designs. Roy lives in Port Charlotte, Florida and enjoys boating, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
