Ellyson Martens, CPOA, BEPO, MSOP, BSE

Ellyson started her career in orthotics/prosthetics (O&P) rehabilitation while getting her Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Iowa. She worked at the Human Performance and Clinical Outcomes gait analysis lab and volunteered at the affiliated O&P clinic. After she graduated in 2020, she went on to complete her Master's of Health Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics at California State University Dominguez Hills in 2023.
After completing her O&P residency, Ellyson joined Bionic’s Wisconsin team in 2026 at their Green Bay and Appleton locations. Her special interests are gait training, sport/activity-specific prosthetic/orthotic rehabilitation, scoliosis bracing, and cranial remolding helmets. She loves to work with a goal-oriented, creative, and adaptable mindset.
When not in clinic, Ellyson spends a lot of time with her 3 dogs: training, exploring the city, and hiking. She and her pups love to travel and spend time with family and friends around the country. She enjoys playing board games with friends, crafting, learning new languages, and catching a Broadway show when she can!
Fun fact: Ellyson habla español con fluidez, fala português razoavelmente bem, sta imparando l'italiano, and is currently learning ASL!
