Responsibilities of a Resident
Adhere to Policy
Uphold company policies on privacy, ethics, and clinical protocol
Educational Opportunities
Participate in outreach, marketing, in-services, CEUs, and training events
Support Administrative Staff
Support administrative staff with insurance claims and compliance
Handling Devices
Fit, align, and deliver devices while progressively taking the lead under supervision
Fabrication
Assist in fabrication: plaster model modifications, CAD software use, and device assembly
Coding
Learn justification and coding protocols for prescribed O&P devices
Patient Evaluations
Conduct and document detailed patient evaluations

Meet Our Residency Program Director
Jeff Wojtanowicz, CPO
Jeff Wojtanowicz is a certified prosthetist and orthotist with over a decade of experience and a special focus on upper and lower limb prosthetics and complex orthotic devices. He serves as Regional Manager for Bionic's Illinois clinics and directs the company's national Residency Program.
Jeff assisted as Bionic's first resident, which laid the foundation for the company's formal residency program. After completing his residency, he took the lead in developing and launching the program as the director. Drawing from his unique perspective, Jeff works closely with Bionic's 10+ annual residents, ensuring they're matched with mentors and clinical teams that support their individual growth and long-term success.
