Dean Karkut, CPO, MBA

Dean Karkut joined Bionic in 2026 as the Clinical Manager of the Kalamazoo office. A Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist, Dean brings a strong patient-centered approach with extensive experience in advanced prosthetic technologies, including microprocessor-controlled knees and ankles.

Outside of work, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife, Lili, and their cat, Hutchinson. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, cheering on Michigan and Detroit Lions football, and off-roading at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

Dean earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University in May 2019. He went on to complete a Master of Business Administration at Bowling Green State University in August 2020, followed by a Master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University in April 2022. After graduating, he relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he gained over four years of valuable clinical experience as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist before returning to Michigan.
